Gibson's Gothic series has been through a number of iterations, and this is one of the later versions. All the versions have some things in common: black finish, ebony board, minimal fretboard inlays. This Morte version has no inlays at all, a satin finish and a pair of Gibson's own 'GEM' active humbuckers.... nothing to do with EMG, apparently. The pickups are high output active hum buckers. It's weighty on the low end and packed with harmonics, bringing all your shred-tricks to life in angry detail.
