I think this was one of the first attempts by Gibson to recreate a 59 figured top Les Paul and also a recreation of the brown and pink Lifton style case.Maybe as early as 1979 Gibson was starting to make some Les Pauls that resembled a 59 LP.
For a 1981 guitars this is very clean condition
